Important: Syringe markings here represent a volume scale, not a medication dose. A 0.5 mL U-100 syringe uses the same scale as a 1 mL U-100 syringe; the capacity differs. U-40 and U-100 are not interchangeable for insulin. This is a reference calculation only, not a dose recommendation, a syringe-reading guide, or medical advice.
